The field of health sciences and sports medicine is all about improvement and progression. Whether someone is learning to walk again through physical rehabilitation, or is simply trying to get in shape for the first time in their lives, this field of study revolves around making meaningful improvements that better both the field, and those that it helps. The writing that I have done throughout this semester also shares this characteristic, as I believe that not only has my writing as whole has progressed, but also each assignment individually has had gradual improvements working towards the final product. Small but purposeful increments of improvement are key, not only for a successful weight-loss plan, but also in just about every activity including writing. In addition, this field attempts to discover new techniques or processes that work better than before, or are new altogether. So too, have I learned more about my writing process, as well as a few skills that will aid me in this field later on.
